About

The dance department of RésoNAnces operates at the intersection of pedagogical and artistic training, professional development and support, and dance research.

RésoNAnces’ pedagogical dynamic is enriched by the synergy between, on the one hand, preparatory programmes for the bachelor in dance pedagogy (French state diploma “Diplôme d’Etat) for dance teachers and the Technical Aptitude Examination (Examen d’Aptitude Technique) required for the entrance in bachelor and, on the other hand, continuing professional training certification courses (such as analysis of the body of dancing movement and percussive dances) designed for professionals.

The core articulation with the institution’s music curricula is what endows the RésoNAnces training offer with its unique pedagogical quality and diversity.

The teaching team of recognized professionals, is regularly enhanced by the involvement of internationally renowned guest figures across all artistic styles. Research projects conducted within university partnerships further contribute to the ongoing development of the curricula.

Particular emphasis is placed on pedagogical coordination to provide tailored guidance for the individualized pathways of both students and professional trainees.

The educational framework integrates societal and health issues as essential components of careers in the performing arts, whether as artists or educators.

RésoNAnces operates its own dedicated studios in Bordeaux and Poitiers to support its dance training programmes..
